Financial Consultant
Karen's role at Thomson Financial Management encompasses the critical areas of financial planning*, investment analysis and wealth management. Karen first developed an interest in finance during her 10-year career in academic development, including three years as director of the Alumnae Fund for Smith College. Upon completing her MBA degree, she joined New York Life Insurance Company as a financial services professional, followed by a position as client services specialist with the brokerage firm of Gage-Wiley & Co., where she acquired her Series 7 registration. Karen earned her graduate degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and her bachelor’s degree from the University of Rhode Island. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Hampshire Regional YMCA.
Rakhee Price
Client Services Manager
Rakhee is the initial point of contact for clients of Thomson Financial Management, where she manages client relations and account documentation, as well as the daily operations of the office. Prior to joining the firm in 2005, Rakhee was an information security analyst for Travelers Life & Annuity, and held IT-related positions with Schroder Leasing and with Hackney Technology & Learning Centre (UK). She holds a bachelor’s degree in business information technology from the University of Westminster, London, and is pursuing her Series 7 registration.

As lead financial consultant, Eva’s focus is on financial planning* and wealth management for individuals and non-profit entities. She is a longstanding resident of Western Massachusetts, where her commitment to area communities is evident in her personal and professional life.
Prior to founding the firm in 2002, Eva spent the majority of her career in finance, assisting entrepreneurs, business owners and economic leaders in attaining their financial goals. Her previous executive positions include chief financial officer of Mass Ventures Corporation; director of Massachusetts Industrial Financial Agency West; and president of Capital Solutions.
Eva earned both her MBA degree and bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She serves on the Advisory Board of the Bank of Western Massachusetts; the Board of Advisors of the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst; and the Investment Committee of the Women’s Fund, Western Massachusetts.
